Profile in brief:

The main responsibility of Manager-PPC is to work with all internal departments; Manufacturing, Purchase, Quality, Sales etc to ensure that there are no bottlenecks in production for want of raw materials and bought out parts. Lead a team of Planners to develop systems and processes to improve efficiency by utilising all available resources, to plan production and work schedules in line with targets to meet customer requirements.

Job Description:

• Plan and prioritize production operations to ensure timely delivery and optimal performance.
• Manage raw material, manpower, capacity, and production planning in line with customer schedules.
• Monitor production execution, dispatch, and plan vs. actual performance, including gap analysis.
• Ensure availability of machines, tools, equipment, and materials for smooth shop-floor operations.
• Conduct capacity utilization planning and monthly production planning.
• Track inventory of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods while supporting inventory optimization.
• Prepare MIS reports and production performance data for monitoring and decision-making.
• Drive productivity improvements, cost reduction, and wastage control initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for material planning, maintenance planning, and process efficiency.
