Sr Sales Engineer
4-10 years of experience for an MNC into Construction Equipment
Location: Mumbai/Jaipur
*Qualification BE/BTech in Mechanical/production/industrial/electronic/civil
*Experience in Construction Equipments/Earth moving Equipments/industrial sales
* Having Good Presentation & Soft Skills
*A Go Getter, Self Motivated, able to Handle Pressure, Achieve Sales target
*Able to Handle & Retain customer.
Broad responsibilities include
- Enabling business solutions to major customers in field of Infrastructure, construction, Solid waste etc.
- Tracking new construction (residential and commercial), infrastructure projects –mapping the potential to sell the equipment
- Responding to enquiries; find out what is needed, send quotations, convert the lead /enquiry to actual sale
- Upselling and cross selling to broaden the scope of equipment and sparepart sales.
Must have a very good network of clients in the construction and infrastructure industry
Day-to- day responsibilities include
- Travelling to visit potential clients
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
- Calculating client quotations
- Negotiating tender and contract terms
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
- Offering after-sales support services
- Administering client accounts
- Analysing costs and sales
- Preparing reports for head office
- Meeting regular sales targets
- Recording and maintaining client contact data
- coordinating sales projects
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
- Solving client problems
- Helping in the design of custom-made products
- Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
