Reporting Manager: Regional / Vertical Sales Head
The responsibilities that are expected from the Sales Managers will (not limited to) largely be the following:
Responsible for driving & Implementing National Sales for Industrial and Institutional Business.
- Developing new accounts, business tie-ups, negotiating, commitment & contract agreement.
- Sales projection, Business plan.
- Setting up Team, Team Development, Coordination & Management
- Plan and execute end-to-end business development activities.
- Drive the deals to closure independently or through the senior team based on the account.
- Lead Generation: Develop the strategy for and drive awareness and product demand.
- Transform Customer’s interest into contracts and creating customer delight for business retention and expansion.
- Establish closed-loop analytics with marketing and business operations teams to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
- Develop sales strategies to acquire new clients.
- Track sales-team metrics and share them with company leadership.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and monitoring their preferences.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Skill Sets Required
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
- Ability to explain and generate desired interest in the product leading to purchase order.
- Understanding Customers’ pain points and providing solution to the problems.
- Ability to provide translate one contract into multiple contracts and sustain long term relationship with the customer.
- Should have consultative selling experience to business leaders on calls
- Ability to pitch & demonstrate/present the product
- Should be able to engage the B2B leads.
- Experience of preparing commercial proposals & doing price negotiation meetings
- Understanding and experience of using sales automation.
- Result oriented, numbers driven and conversion-focused
- Connect company headquarters with customers and sales-people in the field.
- Broad understanding of Industrial plant setups and processes.
- An eye for identifying customer’s challenges and communicating back to design and development team to generate new product development projects.
- Technical Knowledge on water treatment will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience:
- MBA with Marketing & Sales Specialization preferred
- Relevant work experience of minimum 6 years in Industrial Water Treatment Experience preferred.
- Exposure to Industrial Sales is essential. Institutional Sales experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Industries like Paper, Sugar, Cement, Textile products would be good but not essential.
