The Role
As a senior member of the QA team, you will be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance of Tripstack technology along with managing/triaging customer expectations. You will work closely with the Engineering and Product teams. We are looking for a self-motivated, right, and talented individual to help us raise the bar. The candidate should be a natural problem solver, detail-oriented and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The QA team is vital to our mission to continue to develop the latest travel technology and products.
Responsibilities:
Create testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and bug reports
Communicates with applicable stakeholders on product challenges.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Develop deep expertise in the product
Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes within schedules/timelines
Work collaboratively across multiple teams to achieve results such as software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers
Develop and manage operational processes to ensure QA processes link into technology delivery practices and standards.
Effectively communicate and address scope changes that may impact testing.
Mentor other team members and grow the team’s technical level and expertise
Desired Skills:
Strong knowledge of API Automation.
Hands-on experience of any one API testing tools (eg SOAP UI, ReadyAPI).
Strong knowledge of scripting language (eg Groovy scripting).
Strong knowledge of creating performance test cases in any of the tools (eg Jmeter).
Ability to understand the business logic of APIs and locate real user scenarios.
Ability to design tests that are relevant for API.
Strong fundamentals in Algorithms, OOPs and Data Structure..
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills..
Good understanding of SQL.
Hands-on experience of any one bug management tool (eg JIRA).
Strong written and verbal communication.
Understanding of SVN tools (bitbucket, Git).
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field experience.
4+ years of experience in QA
