Our client has simplified the lives of citizens and the government by building intelligent solutions in the ICT segment.  We are looking for a Solution Architect -Cloud, from an IT Service led background- a SME who can provide solutions and get them developed with a support of a team.  This would be a client facing role- a good understanding of Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Proof of Concepts (PoCs) would be required.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Understand the business and operational goals, and RFP requirements of the client and recommend
cloud solutions and offers
· Formulate and develop cloud solutions for customers across different domain
· Understand, articulate, and incorporate Cloud strategies, and define end-to-end architecture
solutions for customers.
· Provide competitive analysis of solutions with differentiation and articulate value proposition
· Demonstrated experience in the Presales process framework, proposal submission process, and
best practices in order to convert leads to opportunities.
· Prepare and deliver solution-based, use case-based presentations and demonstrations to
customers. Present the value proposition to a variety of audiences from C-level to end-users and
all levels in between.
· Experience in solution architecture, Solution Design/Sizing, and effort estimation understanding is a
must-have. Identify technical, process, and structural risks and prepare a risk mitigation plan after
understanding client requirements and effort estimation.
· Contribute to the sales team in driving revenue by qualifying leads. Answer requests for
information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) at a detailed and professional level.
· Experience or knowledge of container technology & microservices architecture-based
application design is required.
· Ensure quality assurance of all the architecture or design decisions and provide technical
mitigation support to the delivery teams. Recommend tools for reuse, automation for improved
productivity, and reduced cycle times
· Keep abreast of technology developments across the industry and various cloud offering
· Provide thought leadership with appropriate whitepapers.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelors in an engineering or business discipline
· 10+ years experience as a solutions architect with comparative customer-facing roles
· Certification in Solution Architect
· Strong understanding across any of the Cloud (AWS/Azure) ( IAAS / PAAS / SAAS ).and its
components (compute, storage, network, data, middleware components, serverless compute,
security, Orchestrated containers/K8S) to deliver end-to-end infrastructure architecture
solutioning for the clients
· Cloud services like different types of storage services, relational databases, NoSQL offerings,
compute services, alerting and notification services, audit and security services, HA with load
balancers
· Good understanding of network connectivity in a multi-cloud environment (virtual network,
gateways, public/private/elastic ips.)
· Experience with migration of applications to the cloud
· Good understanding of Cloud Security (IAM, mitigation of attacks, default deny concept)
· Knowledge of Infrastructure as code (Terraform/ CloudFormation/ Blueprint/ARM templates)
· Knowledge of cloud-native patterns, migrating legacy applications to the cloud
· Experience with any scripting language will be a bonus
· Expertise in Microservices Architecture and experience in Designing and Developing MSA-based
applications, Containerization, Container orchestration (eg. Kubernetes)
· Strong experience in various DevSecOps functions - Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery,
Continuous Deployment, Continuous Operations, and Continuous Monitoring
