Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive risk management frameworks that adhere to regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend proactive strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies related to environmental, social, and governance issues, as well as in-country value initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance metrics, risks, and ICV/ESG initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in regulatory environments and industry trends, ensuring the organization remains compliant and competitive.
- Provide training and support to employees on compliance, risk management, ICV, and ESG practices, enhancing overall organizational awareness and engagement.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulators during compliance reviews and audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses to inquiries.
- Drive ESG initiatives and enhance reporting processes to reflect the organization’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
- Stay current on best practices related to risk management, compliance, ICV, and ESG, influencing the organization's strategic direction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ISO 31000, CCEP, or GARP) is preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in risk management, compliance, ICV, and ESG, preferably within [insert relevant industry, e.g., finance, manufacturing, energy].
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and develop actionable compliance strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of local and international regulatory frameworks, along with familiarity with sustainability reporting standards such as GRI or SASB.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and lead initiatives to successful completion.
