Job Purpose:
Development of performance standards for the warehouse system, creation of processes and tools to maintain performance standards through continuous analysis of key indicators, synchronization of material flows and communications between departments involved in the movement of goods in the warehouse system.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in projects to optimize processes and integrate know-how technologies/methods.
- Conduct MBRM/QBRM (monthly/quarterly business review meeting) between Private Brands SCM and Warehouse Logistics departments. Monitor warehouse process KPIs and take corrective/remedial actions. Identify physical and process causes of deviations:
- Speed and quality of receiving deliveries
- Speed and quality of picking of goods
- Staff productivity to close out tasks of individual commodity and business lines (B2B, dangerous goods).
- Standardise warehouse processes, building sustainable commodity flow management.
- Coordinate operational and medium-term plan of supply arrivals. Periodically update available warehouse capacity and initiate work to prevent overstocking.
- Manage the distribution of goods between warehouses. Set normative parameters to ensure availability in the warehouses of the "downstream" tier: maintain availability / on order. Take into account current system constraints.
- Plan and coordinate global warehouse operations: inventory, physical and informational commissioning of new warehouses. Check warehouse readiness for marketing activities.
- Ensure that data in accounting and wms systems are in line with the actual physical positioning of stock.
Qualifications:
- Completed higher education, preferably majoring in mathematics, economics or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain planning methods and their applicability limits: min-max, safety stock, stock buffer, demand driven, and others.
- Strong knowledge of the Lean, TOC or 6 Sigma.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Management: identify and reduce or eliminate waste in all areas of a supply chain.
- Good knowledge of SCOR model.
- Good knowledge of Supply chain synchronisation.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel: LookUp, Pivot tables, Power Query.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Language skills: Russian - fluent, English - upper-intermediate or higher.
