Job Description
Position – Strategic Business Partner – Diversity and Inclusion
As a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility Business Partner, you will work and collaborate with business and HR leaders to lead and drive the overall strategy.
Business partnering
- Partner with business, HR and other stakeholders on key projects that support building a sense of belonging for all employees and support the roadmap objectives.
- Coach business leaders and employees on practicing inclusive behaviours.
- Act as point of contact for the business on inclusion matters and coach and guide them on encouraged behaviours and other inclusive practices.
- Provide support and guidance to our HR Business Partnering team on inclusive practices and ways to operationalize our inclusion agenda.
- Create, support, and provide guidance to our employee resource groups, in line with our strategy.
Strategy execution
- Execute initiatives for respective business verticals aligned with the overall company strategy.
- Provide research on inclusion and diversity best practices to bring the latest thinking on inclusion, diversity and belonging.
- Liaise with third party suppliers for execution of trainings, surveys, events, and workshops etc.
- Assist in creating partnerships with local communities across the country to create regional based events that support the overall roadmap.
- Support the development and implementation of policies that drive greater inclusion and support for employees.
- Develop, maintain, and update databases to assist in efficient and accurate communication to a wide variety of stakeholders.
Liaison with HR teams
- Liaison with TA team on business diversity recruiting needs for business verticals.
- Exit management of diversity groups within the business vertical
Measure efforts
- Develop, implement, and monitor metrics that measure diversity efforts and outcomes.
- Create reports on requested demographic data to track progress and identify areas of opportunity requiring greater focus.
- Prepare, analyse, and manage the distribution and communication of department/vertical level survey reports and assist HR and business leaders in interpreting results, assessing gaps and opportunities, and identifying strategies to influence progress over time.
Employee Resource Groups
- Assist in creating ERGs for employee groups.
- Collaborate with ERGs to support their initiatives and employee volunteer opportunities.
External Reputation
- Seek out speaking engagements for leaders to support company’s external commitment to (divisional and corporate diversity and supplier diversity).
- Network and build relationships with professional and community organizations focused on underrepresented communities.
- Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to stay abreast on leading practices.

Skills and Experience
- 4 -6 years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility.
- Ability to analyse and pull data together to provide insights and measurable outcomes.
- Good written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence others to action.
- Enthusiastic, creative thinker with attention to detail.
- Proven track of initiatives promoting inclusive workplace.
- Strong networking ability to build new relationships.
- Willingness to travel (10%).
Qualifications
- Education: MBA in HR, M.Sc/B.Sc in Psychology.
- Related work experience: experience in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and/or Human Resources would be an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS office, advanced excel and power point is a plus.
