Our client is an international company that activates in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Strategic Buyer.

Strategic Buyer

The Strategic Buyer is responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement plans to optimize the organization's supply chain, reduce costs, and enhance supplier relationships.

Your responsibilities:

• Management of the relationships developed with suppliers for an assigned portfolio of commodities
• Conduct price and contract negotiations in relationship with the suppliers for production material with international suppliers
• Perform necessary risk management activities for dedicated suppliers, find improvement solutions
• Ensure sufficient supplier capacity to avoid delivery problems
• Involvement in international purchasing projects of the European Purchasing Team
• Collaborate closely with related departments such as SCM, Quality Management, and Operations

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Work experience in the manufacturing field and general industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Purchasing Expertise in mechanical parts preferred Turning/Grinding/Milled Parts, Die Casted Parts, Sintered Parts, stamped/deep-drawn parts, and Plastic Parts
• Advanced ERP tool knowledge – SAP
• Communicative, team player attitude
• English level advanced, German is a plus
