The Strategy & Execution Manager will serve as a strategic partner to the Group CEO, supporting the design, prioritisation and orchestration of Group-wide strategic and transformation initiatives. These include operating model evolution, IT and process modernisation, organisational development and governance optimisation.
This role does not carry line management responsibility and does not assume ownership of regulated or key functions. Instead, it operates through influence, coordination and structured follow-through at Group level.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the Group CEO, helping to frame strategic questions, clarify trade-offs and assess delivery risks
- Coordinate and drive implementation of Group-level initiatives across entities, under the mandate of the Group CEO, while formal accountability remains with local management and key function holders
- Translate strategic direction into structured programmes, roadmaps and measurable milestones
- Ensure alignment and consistency across geographies (Bulgaria, Italy, Spain and Greece)
- Monitor progress against agreed objectives and proactively address deviations
- Identify bottlenecks, misalignment or execution risks and escalate through appropriate governance channels
- Support dynamic re-prioritisation to safeguard Group-level objectives
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Risk and Compliance functions while preserving formal lines of responsibility
- Prepare high-quality CEO and Board materials, including strategy presentations, business cases, implementation reviews and progress reporting
- Undertake occasional travel between Bulgaria, Italy and Spain to support alignment, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery
Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- 8–10+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, corporate development or advisory roles within an international, multi-entity environment
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal line authority and operate effectively under executive mandate
- Strong ability to structure complex, cross-functional and cross-border strategic topics
- Excellent analytical rigour and synthesis capability, with exposure to CEO and Board-level discussions
- Proven ability to convert ambiguity into structured initiatives and clear delivery plans
- Pragmatic, resilient and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in evolving and partially structured environments
- Strong discipline in tracking progress and ensuring follow-through
- Exceptional communication skills in Bulgarian and English, both written and verbal
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Insurance, Banking or a related field
Advantages:
- Experience in regulated environments such as insurance, reinsurance, MGA, banking or other financial services
- Exposure to financial planning processes (budgeting inputs, investment cases, scenario modelling, multi-year planning)
- P&L exposure and/or post-merger integration experience
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Excellent Italian or Spanish language skills are considered a strong advantage
The Benefits for You:
- A high-impact strategic role at Group level with direct exposure to the CEO and Board
- Opportunity to shape and influence the evolution of a multi-country insurance group
- Visibility across international markets and cross-border strategic initiatives
- A dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with short decision-making lines
- Competitive compensation package aligned with seniority and impact
- Performance-based bonus structure
- Additional benefits package
