With decades of experience in developing low-level systems, they play a critical role in shaping the foundational software that powers modern computing platforms.
Role details:
- Title / Designation: Subject Matter Expert
- Location: Kolkata
Role & responsibilities:
- Lead FPGA architecture design, RTL development, and hardware acceleration solutions
- Conduct feasibility studies on FPGA–CPU/GPU co-design and emerging technologies
- Develop PoCs to evaluate performance (latency, throughput, resource utilization)
- Debug RTL/testbench issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects
- Document design decisions, trade-offs, and mentor junior engineers
Candidate requirements:
- 5–8+ years of hands-on FPGA/RTL design experience (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
- Strong knowledge of protocols: PCIe, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, AXI
- Expertise in verification (UVM), simulation, and debugging tools (ILA/SignalTap)
- Solid understanding of digital design, hardware algorithms, and IP development
- Experience with FPGA toolchains, Linux/Windows environments, and scripting (Python/Tcl/Bash preferred)
