Scope of the role:
The Supply Chain & Distribution Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire operational flow from goods receipt to final dispatch, ensuring efficient supply chain planning, accurate inventory management, and strict compliance with cold chain standards (0–4°C). The role ensures product quality, food safety, and on-time delivery performance within the fresh and frozen food category.Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Operational Oversight:
- Supervise the full operational process: inbound receipt → storage → picking → order preparation → final dispatch
- Ensure adherence to internal procedures and food safety standards
- Monitor operational KPIs such as order accuracy, processing time, and on-time delivery
- Inventory & Stock Management:
- Manage inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods
- Conduct and supervise periodic stock counts and inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Minimize shrinkage and product waste
- Cold Chain & Temperature Control (0–4°C):
- Ensure strict compliance with temperature-controlled storage requirements
- Monitor and record temperature logs for warehouse and transport
- Manage temperature deviation incidents and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain food safety compliance
- Planning & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Plan order fulfillment and dispatch activities based on demand forecasts
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and transport providers
- Optimize delivery routes and loading efficiency
- Ensure cost-effective and timely distribution
- Support demand planning and supply optimization initiatives
- Plan deliveries and work close with transporters on timely schedule
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
- Experience in FMCG, fresh food, or frozen food operations is highly preferred
- Experience with WMS and/or ERP systems
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
Working Conditions:
- Work environment includes temperature-controlled warehouse areas (0–4°C)
- Fast-paced food distribution environment
- Regular coordination with transport providers and internal departments
