A Multinational Industrial/manufacturing company is looking for a Supply Chain Director to join their dynamic team. As the Supply Chain Director, you will play a crucial role in leading the strategic planning and execution of our supply chain operations:

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy to support the company's goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to align strategies, optimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously evaluate supply chain processes, systems, and capabilities. Identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and cost savings while maintaining high quality standards. Lead initiatives for inventory optimization, demand planning, and risk management.
• Supplier Management: Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation. Implement strategies to manage supplier risks and ensure continuity of supply.
• Logistics Management: Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to optimize efficiency, monitor KPIs and minimize costs
• Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of supply chain professionals. Set clear goals and foster a collaborative work environment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as operations, procurement, sales, and finance to ensure alignment and effective communication across departments

Requirements:

• Experience: 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in supply chain management.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities. Proven ability to build, motivate, and inspire high-performing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
