Our client is a leading food company in Hamburg with well established brands and part of a multinational group, for whom we are searching for a
                                                                      Supply Chain Director (w/m/d)
Key Outputs:

• Lead the department:
  • Design and develop the supply organisation in order to comply with the strategy.
  • Set objectives and ensure that they are attained
  • Working with the HR-Division, manage team recruitment, career management, training, development, remuneration policy etc.
• Run the demand planning in collaboration with sales and marketing
• Build the production planning for the plant on sales forecast, plants constraints, Raw Material availability and stock policy
• Develop a finished good production and sourcing planning to define volumes requirement for both internal plants and suppliers.•
• Ensure the management and steering of the external logistic provider to secure deliveries to the customers
• Ensuring that stock coverage and service level targets are met throughout the supply chain
• Manage the order to cash process
• As a member of the Leadership Team, help to develop the business strategy.

Your profile:

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the same post or one of its component parts: logistics, flow management, demand management in the FMCG business.
• Good command of ERP and process order to cash.
• Mature and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a business partner and internal & external customer orientation.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
• An effective communicator at all levels in the organisation, with strong oral and written skills.
• A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality, combined with the will and passion to drive change agenda and constantly question the status quo
• Very good level of English and German (C1/C2)
