Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement and Supplier Management:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to source high-quality raw materials from global suppliers, focusing on China, India, and Europe.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and adherence to contractual terms.
• Forecast material requirements and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking in cooperation with the warehouse department.

2. Logistics Management:

• Oversee and optimize inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transportation.
• Coordinate with international shipping providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials.
• Monitor and manage logistics costs, identifying opportunities for savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and documentation standards.

3. Quality Assurance Coordination:

• Collaborate closely with the Quality Manager to ensure raw materials meet the client's quality standards and specifications.
• Address any quality issues with suppliers, facilitating corrective actions and process improvements.
• Participate in supplier audits and inspections as needed.

4. Operational Excellence:

• Develop and implement supply chain policies and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.
• Recommend solutions, implement it and utilize supply chain management software and tools to track shipments, monitor inventory, and generate performance reports.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement, logistics, and inventory activities.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with the Production and Operations teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
• Support the Finance team in budgeting, cost analysis, and supplier payment processes.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to meet customer demand and delivery expectations.

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of global procurement and logistics practices, including experience sourcing from China, India, and Europe.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs processes.
• Experience in supply chain management software.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
• Experience working with international suppliers and managing logistics for multiple regions.
• Familiarity with quality management standards and practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in English
