Professional skills:

Position requires a strong knowledge on Voice switching platforms and inventory management systems.

• Must have experience on change management process with design knowledge of Switch Network.
• Good Knowledge on the Switching technologies with service provisioning, ceasing and migration activities.
• Reporting Skills- collate the data and study it for meaningful analysis
• Should have experience in voice switching solution/ planning/ceasing/migration activities
• Well versed with the HLD and LLD documentation procedures and network analysis skills.

Expected responsibilities:

• Audit of remote device and detailed study of traffic & numbering plan
• Identify list of Active numbers, links & ports present in the device
• Eliminate possible supervisions in the connection routes with the HOST Terminal
• Unconfigure the remote unit from the host
• Unconfigure the host unit by reassigning the associated remotes to different host.
• If case of incident, able to revert as quick as possible.
• Programming and creation of works for reconnection of remote units.
• Transfer of numbering associated with the reconnection of remote units.
• Should have hands on experience in Alcatel 1240 & 1540 models.
• High & low links for reconnection of remote of units
• Configuration of remote unit & subscribers in destination host
• Management & coordination of cutting for the reconnection of remote unit
• Reconfiguration of numbering associated with the reconnection of remote unit
• Plan & execution of number migrations with 100% accuracy
• Able to understand & lead the new scope which are coming from Telefonica
• Create change management & execute numbering migration without flaw.
• Able to perform pre/post migration activities independently & schedule migration by co-ordination with different units of Telefonica.
• Manage day to day performance of Site Closure activities and manage the SLA's across the projects.
• Reviewing current processes and procedures to ensure updates are instigated as appropriate.
