KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

• Demonstrates subject matter expertise in Ariba Integrations and Connections.
• This role, alongside other System Analyst roles, will serve as the “product expert” for Ariba Integrations and APIs, included, but not limited to, CIG, ITK, and Tax API.
• Supports future rollouts of Ariba procure-to-pay modules including Buying and Invoicing, Commerce Automation, and Ariba Network by participating in all phases of implementation including blueprint, realization & testing, cutover, and post go-live support.
• Understands functional as well as technical configuration in Ariba downstream modules and its integration with SAP ECC system using CIG.
• Demonstrates ability to extend technical expertise in other supply chain specific applications like Blue Yonder (JDA) and support service line initiatives effectively
• Manages Supply Chain specific master data in Ariba, Blue Yonder as well as other connected systems.
• Supports break-fixes, enhancements, and customizations in Supply Chain IT portfolio (i.e. Ariba downstream and upstream modules, SAP ECC, Blue Yonder, ReadSoft, S4/HANA etc.).
• Serves as a procurement technical expert on project teams and partners with other SMEs to develop, support and maintain Ariba solutions.
• Provides support to technically onboard new suppliers and integrate them on Ariba Network.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in SLP module, in particular how data is to be formatted and loaded to flow end to end.
• Understands architectural and configuration dependency between Ariba upstream and downstream modules to drive consistent design decisions.
• Reviews product release notes to identify and communicate potential technical and business process implications.
• Provides consultation to the team members to enhance their business, functional and technical knowledge specific to Ariba best-practices.
• Partners with other IS stakeholders to drive consistency across system configuration, design, integration and data management practices.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE  

Required:

• Good number of years’ experience in implementation/support experience in Ariba
• Proficient in Ariba downstream modules (i.e. Buying and Invoicing, Commerce Automation and Ariba Network) and working knowledge of upstream modules (i.e. Sourcing, SLP and Contract Management)
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting CIG, including error troubleshooting and resolution
• Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA
• Experience working with Ariba APIs, webservices and ITK
• Familiarity with SAP MM module
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Suite (O365, Microsoft Teams, PowerApps, PowerBI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)

Preferred:

• Integration experience using any leading middleware tools like TIBCO, MuleSoft etc.
• Experience in implementing/supporting direct procurement in Ariba using Commerce Automation module
• Extensive experience in Ariba administration activities involving system config, customizations, approval workflow, user management and integration with ERP and non-ERP systems
• Working knowledge of direct and indirect procurement configuration in SAP MM module
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) best practices and supporting Integrated Supply Chain Planning solutions.

Desired:

• Experience in Ariba Spend Analysis (Spend Viz) solution to drive spend reporting and analytics
• Experience supporting a global delivery model and working in Agile/DevOps environment.
