System Engineer for Parking Systems, Cluj
Job description
We are currently looking for a System Engineer to work within our client’s team.
You will focus on contributing to Driving Assistance systems for the world's largest automotive OEM’s based on ultrasonic sensors and sensors data fusion. You will deliver projects that contain features ranging from Autonomous Parking Systems to High-Speed maneuvering systems.
In your role you will:
- Understand the customer expectations & needs to design the right solution;
- Create the Requirements that the multidisciplinary engineering teams will use to develop their part of the system;
- Use the System Architecture to design the System Models (MBSE);
- Actively contribute to reviews of Requirements and Implementations to ensure that we develop the system correctly;
- Take ownership of the System Engineering activities for the entire project timeline: from acquisition until our system is delivered to the customer;
- Lead technical discussions with the Project Management and engineering teams (HW, SW and Test engineers);
- Support the Test Engineers to understand the System Requirements and enable them to create system tests;
- Work and contribute to ASPICE compliance in our projects;
- Create the necessary technical system documentation;
- Perform analysis on the issues that are reported by the customer and our own testing team;
- Be able to experience your system on customer vehicles in our laboratory environment or even on the public road;

Qualifications
- You have a technical degree in Automotive, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics, or comparable fields;
- You have experience with Requirements Engineering;
- You have knowledge on model-based design methodology and strategies;
- You have at least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry;
- Are familiar with the V-model development lifecycle;
- Fluent in English, German is nice to have
- Personality:
- You are self-motivated and take ownership of your tasks and projects;

- You are able to work independently;
- You have an analytical work approach;
- You have a strong willingness to learn, grow and to further develop yourself.
