Our client is an international company that activates in the automotive industry and has a major contribution to the future of mobility.
System Test Function Lead
Your responsibilities:
- Overall Verification and Validation strategy for the whole corresponding function
- Defining the Software V&V Strategy for the whole function
- Complete overview of the function (maturity, failing testcases, root causes for defects)
- Definition of technical test activities within specific function
- Provide support to Test Manager during SW release
- Attend System Test Review meetings
- Be the first point of contact for development team
- Ensure proper test case definition and linking to test basis
- Continuous alignment with the teams involved
- Track test activities against milestones, reporting the variations to the stakeholders
- Participate in different status meetings of the project
- Able to perform/support all tasks of the System Test Engineer
- Monitor and manage the optimal use of technologies and automation for testing
- Be able to propose and plan possible improvements for the current testing process
- To make sure that the all the information is up to date you will be using planning tools such as Jira, ALM or Microsoft Project
- The dedicated Embedded-SW Test Automation Tools are CAPL, vTEST studio, CarMaker
- In terms of versioning, some tools that you will be using are GIT & PTC
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Embedded C/C++ is necessary
- Knowledge of CI/CD/CT methodology (Jenkins, Azure);
- In terms of Automotive Communication Protocols, experience with CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet would be mandatory
Your profile:
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics or comparable.
- You have a minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive system & software testing
- You have experience in test leading activities and in ADAS testing
- You previously used different testing types such as functional and non-functional
- You have knowledge about MiL/SiL/HiL systems/setups/testing
- Good knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
- You can apply Software Development Principles (V-Model, Agile, Test Process, etc.)
- You have ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
- You are Fluent in both English and Romanian.
