• Title / Designation: Tableau Developer
• Location: Pune

Role & responsibilities:

• Deliver medium to high complexity dashboard projects either individually or as part of a project team.
• Use design prototyping rigor and consultative best-practices with our partners.
• Develop solutions using agile principles
• Provide operational production support for the dashboards on Tableau Server.

Candidate requirements:

• A strong data visualization portfolio demonstrating how you design to tackle customer needs.
• Experience with visualization software, preferably Tableau is required
• Knowledge of interactive data visualization best practices
• Experience leading design discovery meetings with end-users is preferred
• Solid experience of Tableau connectivity with HDFS, Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Oracle, Python, SQL & Complex Queries. Ability to work with huge datasets
• Sound knowledge of Tableau concepts like filters, parameters, set, actions, data & time functions, data relationship models
• Ability to optimize dashboard performance, load time and extract refresh time
• Ability to perform site admin tasks and strong knowledge of Tableau extracts/Hyper refresh, connection types, data sources, schedules, subscriptions and user’s permissions
• Have a good understanding of data management systems and processes within the ecosystem.
• Good experience working with SQL or Tableau Prep. Ability to write custom SQL Queries
• Experience with any script language (R/Python) is an advantage
• Experience working in an Agile or fast paced and dynamic environment is a plus.
• Must have worked in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Financial Products is a PLUS
