IndustryAccountant - Tax
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and execute direct tax processes across designated countries (UAE, Egypt, and Europe), ensuring timely and accurate compliance.

Support and advise on indirect tax reporting and regulatory updates, acting as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.

Interpret and apply local and international tax legislation to business operations, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks.

Prepare, review, and file tax returns in coordination with local advisors and internal stakeholders.

Assist in audits and inquiries from tax authorities; maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and external auditors to support statutory and tax reporting cycles.

Optimize ERP tax configurations (preferably SAP) to enhance reporting accuracy and streamline tax processes.

Deliver insights and proactive risk assessments, proposing process improvements and automation opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Master’s degree is a strong advantage.

Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in direct tax administration in a CoE or specialist capacity.

Solid understanding of both direct and indirect tax frameworks and related compliance processes.

Strong grasp of UAE, Egyptian, and European tax legislation and regulatory expectations.

Demonstrated experience with financial and tax management systems; ERP experience is essential (SAP preferred).

Exceptional communication skills with full professional proficiency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
