Job Title: Team Administrator (Department Assistant - Research, Development and Quality)
Location: UK-Middlesex-Feltham (on site parking and courtesy bus from feltham station)
Overview:
The RDQ Department Assistant is a key member of the team, supporting smooth operation of RDQ Quality team and wider RDQ functional activities.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfil the role of departmental buyer for all trial ingredients, packaging, and associated freight. Raise Purchase requisitions and call-off sheets for materials, services, including repairs and maintenance
- Maintenance of appropriate team documentation/measures in the RDQ dashboard e.g. RDQ Who's Who
- Budget tracking and diagnostics
- Expenses support when required for the RDQ Team
- Proactive planning of meetings, agendas, and itinerary for the Quality Team
- Ensure monthly reporting is coordinated and collated on time
- Support with itineraries for the Quality Team and the forward planning of team meetings and agendas
- Provide general secretarial and receptionist support for RDQ including, amongst other things - organising events and making travel Arrangements (Flights / Hotels / Taxis etc) for all department members
Qualifications:
Essential
- Proficient in English Language
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial administrative role
- Competent use of IT systems - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- High degree of diligence and accuracy to provide smooth, reliable support to the Team
- Strong organisational skills - ability to plan and prioritise
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion
- Close attention to details to ensure subtle changes in requirements are identified, acknowledged and actioned
- Customer focused approach - approachable and always accepting of changing business priorities
- Dependable with excellent work ethic
- Demonstrates shows strong accountability for their own work
- Strong at multitasking and meeting deadlines
