Major Responsibilities

- Build knowledge of existing Java applications to ensure smooth transition of work items where
required
- Contribute in technical solutions for current applications
- Recommend technical solution for new applications as well as applications that need to be migrated
- Participate in solution conceptualization, proof of concept, effort estimation, design, development,
implementation, go-live and support phases
- Work as individual contributor as well as team lead
- Work with program managers in detailing requirements for enhancements/ change requests,
develop effort estimates and project schedule
- While working as team lead, manage work assignment across team members, track them to
completion in a timely manner and publish regular status reports as applicable
- Adherence to coding standards by self and teams
- On-going addition/ update to technical documentation of respective functionality
- Maintain timeliness of deliverables
- Timely submission of timesheets and leave records for self and team
