Our client, a company operating in the production environment, is looking for a Technical Director.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Your responsibilities:

As Technical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of operations, managing a team of engineers, and driving innovation to achieve company goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of technical strategies to meet company objectives
• Identify opportunities for improvement to maximize the efficiency of the existing line and adapt to industry trends and emerging technologies
• Development and management of deadlines and budgets related to projects and production process
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and increasing efficiency within the technical department, developing innovative and complex solutions with the help of dedicated methodologies
• Supervision of quality assurance and testing processes to ensure production product reliability
• Maintaining and developing automated product processes to increase line profitability
• Identifying solutions to increase and expand the production process by maximizing the efficiency of the existing line
• Maintaining, managing, and improving production processes to achieve optimal production parameters
• Working with other departments to ensure alignment of technical and business objectives
• Identifying and solving technical challenges and problems, conducting dedicated analyses and proposing ideas for improvement and improvement

The ideal profile:

• Higher technical studies (Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Applied Informatics, Computers, etc.)
• Medium-level knowledge of English
• Knowledge of industrial automation and PLC programming processes (Siemens/ SIMATIC/ Step 7/ Step 5/ PL7 Pro, Schneider, etc.)
• Experience in pneumatic and electric drives, robots (an advantage)
• Participation in projects and execution of industrial automation systems based on electro-pneumatic drives, robots, and other equipment and execution of programs for programmable controllers
• Planning, maintenance, and tracking of equipment functionalities
• Prevention / Solution of technical problems arising on the PLC side
• Execution of programs for programmable controllers.
• Network knowledge – an advantage
• Proactive attitude, initiative and organizational skills
• Capacity for analysis, synthesis and assimilation
• Leadership for technical teams
• Planning, tracking and accomplishing tasks within established time limits
• Driving license category B (is an advantage)
