Role details:
- Title / Designation: Senior Technical Director/Technical Director – .NET
- Reporting Manager: VP
- Location: Pune
Role & responsibilities:
- Collaborate in presales and solutions, brainstorming product ideas with prospects and clients along with relevant internal teams.
- Position cost-effective and high ROI innovative solutions to meet clients' expectations and build them with quality and speed.
- Contribute to addressing technical clarifications to the client.
- Participate in Architectural, design & code reviews while establishing and maintaining best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and grow Developers and team members at all levels, evangelizing capabilities leveraging the latest technologies.
- As a hands-on technical leader, zoom in and zoom out to help team members technically.
- Lead multiple client engagements with large teams and diverse technologies.
- Collaborate with Recruitment Team and Vendors on new positions and plan for onboarding, implement strategies to develop and retain technical talent.
- Manage the budget for technical recruitment and training.
- Push the boundaries when working with clients who are tech-savvy and think outside the box to drive digital transformation efforts.
Candidate requirements:
- 15+ years of end-to-end application development and deployment experience, with the recent 10+ years in .Net, C#, WCF and other related Microsoft Technologies
- At least 5 years of web development and web design experience, using modern web/JS frameworks.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent Database backend
- At least 5 years of recent experience, in client-interfacing technology delivery
- At least 5 years of recent experience in leading technical teams
- Excellent knowledge of architectures in Cloud and Mobility, and creation of applications and solutions using the most recent technological stack.
- Hands-on experience in handling multiple client engagements with large teams and diverse technologies
- Hands-on experience in Architectural, design & code reviews while establishing and maintaining best practices.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team technically.
- Proven technology leadership credentials, with the ability to think outside the box to drive digital transformation initiatives and to push the envelope with tech-savvy clients.
- Seasoned self-starter, with the ability to inspire the team.
- High degree of multiple relevant soft skills and competencies, including verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, context-switching in the face of changing priorities, problem-solving, troubleshooting, time management and suchlike
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
