Role & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for detailed analysis of system requirements, system architecture & evaluating the feasibility of software implementation.
2. Interact with system, customer for clarification on requirements, check the feasibility and propose technical solutions
3. Responsible for preparation and maintaining the software requirement , software architecture, module specification, implementing and testing
4. Perform technical reviews and highlight the risks
5. Responsible for supporting RFQ activities for technical feasibility and solutions
6. Support for Proof of concept for new or upcoming technologies.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
8. Perform software integration.
9. Training new employees on specific technical methods, tools and processes.

Mandatory Skills:

1. Must have extensive (> 9 Yrs.) experience in Automotive Embedded software development
2. Must have extensive experience in Embedded ‘C or C++’ language and microcontroller peripheral communication protocol like SPI, I2C, UART etc.
3. Must have worked on different software architecture e.g. AUTOSAR, OSEK etc.
4. Must have good understanding of 32bit microcontroller architecture.
5. Must have worked on different communication protocols used in Automotive domain e.g CAN, LIN, CANFD, J1939 etc.
6. Should have good knowledge of linker srcipts and makefile for building projects
7. Should have good understanding of hardware schematics
8. Must have worked on Vector tools like CANOe / CANalyzer
9. Must have followed standard Software development life cycle e.g V-Model, Agile, etc

Desired Skills:

1. Emulators / Debuggers (iSystem - WinIdea, Lauterbach,Segger-Jlink etc.) 2. Oscilloscope
3. Vector tool vFlash CANdela, Hex viewer etc.
4. Standard software development environment / tools like Eclipse etc.
5. Good to have worked on requirement management and issue tracking tools like DOORs,JIRA etc
6. Good to have worked on version control tools like Dimensions, Gits bitbucket, etc
