Technical Product Marketing Manager - SECURITY
Location: Austin,Texas or USA Remote

The role involves owning and driving strategic go-to-market initiatives, positioning and product launches to continuously engage the company’s large and growing community, conducting market research, as well as enabling stakeholders to accurately deliver the company’s message. You will be working closely with product management, sales, services, demand generation, and other cross-functional teams to plan and execute programs while continually optimizing based on market needs.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Be involved in the strategic planning and execution of the go-to-market intiatives including product launches and other programs.
- Be an expert on product security features and offering, understand how users at all levels of an organisation are using the company’s products.
- Develop clear and compelling positioning and messaging, articulate benefits and value proposition to targeted audience.
- Work closely Marketing team members to develop and coordinate programs and campaigns through new and existing channels to create awareness and drive adoption.
- Partner with Product Management to define and influence the product feature roadmap with valuable insights and relevant market research.
- Craft impactful stories and content (e.g. blog posts, product announcements, web content, webinars, videos etc.) that contribute to go-to-market objectives and campaigns.
- Partner with the sales and services team to get feedback from the field, improve narrative and enable them with impactful assets to convey the message to company’s customers.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of experience in a Product Marketing team at a software company with focused experience on security.
- You have technical acumen and have a great passion for software products and the underlying technology that fuels them.
- A technical degree or past experience is a plus.
- You have marketing experience with major AppSec, cloud, and dev tool providers. If you’ve demonstrated the ability to partner with them, it’s a plus.
- If the words OWASP, CWE, PCI DSS ring a bell to you, it’s definitely a plus.
- You adapt quickly, are flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic space with Agile principles.
- You love collaborative work and are open to adjusting based on feedback.
- You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and are fluent in English.
- United States work status necessary.
