Role Title – Technical Product Owner

Introduction:

The Short Term Trading & Dispatch Solutions department in the company's  IT is responsible for all changes in IT Systems supporting the Business Processes for that domain. The department consist of Project Managers, Business, System Analysts and Developers who are responsible for delivering large scale transformational Projects as well as small scale Business as Usual items for Power and Gas.

Within this department we are searching for a Technical Product Owner.

Profile:

- Leading technical implementations for Azure based Micro Service modules in accordance to the Architectural Principles

- Applying the general company's IT strategy in alignment with the Domain Architect Team

- Structure and map Business requirements towards technical implementation

- Organize Dev/Ops development approach technically (CI/CD) and organizationally (Processes)

- Liaise with external ODC teams for development and efficient solution delivery.

- Quality assurance of specification, design and technical deliveries

- Managing technical debts and defining Solution Architecture to fit to the expectations of Business and Customer

- Coordinator of dependencies and operational enablement from change to production operation teams to leverage a sustainable integration platform

- Problem management for platform and production issues (understand root causes and share sustainable solutions & improvements and follow-up these)

- Own, maintain and develop the High-Availability, Disaster Recovery and other Resilient concepts for the Application

Expertise in  Technology

• Backend (Kotlin as programming language, Kafka interface, KeyCloak for identities)

• Azure Cloud infrastructure (as such, AKS for Kubernetes, Azure, Azure Monitor, Azure PostgreSQL)

• Continuous integration (i.e. ArgoCD, Azure Pipelines, Terraform)

•  Frontend VueJS, REACT or AngularJS is a plus

• Academic degree or equivalent professional qualification with 4 -8 years of professional experience

•  Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in order to facilitate workshops in order to communicate with the Business

•  Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, any other language is a plus

•  Experience in the Energy / Commodity trading domain is a plus
