The position is Technical-Sales Engineer - SPAIN - Specialties Chemicals

Location: Madrid – SPAIN – (Home office) 

Salary package includes: Fix salary 40-45K€/yr + Variable 10% + Company car

- Required a dynamic personality who is customer oriented with solid Technical and commercial background.

Ideal profile:

• can have their own initiative and work independently.
• have technical understanding of materials technology for the key market in Specialties Chemicals sectors.

This position reports to the General Manager.

Mission:

• Responsible of developing new customers in surface treatment and pigments markets
• Maintaining the current customer portfolio by visiting in regular basis, assisting them in their process.
• Technical support - Help customers to improve their processes and advising about the right product.
• Responsible for sales and margin in his/her region.
• Competition follow up – (SWOT analysis) - Protecting customers by keeping customer loyalty.
• Following orders from to the creation to the delivery.
• Keeping and developing relationships to all levels in customers organizations.

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor, Engineer/master’s degree in chemistry/Polymer/Material or chemical relevant
• 3-5 years’ experience - Commercial background role in specialties chemical sector, with Coating experience, surface treatment application in industrial application preferred.
• A record of successful new product / New customer acquisition - “Hunter”
• Customer/Result oriented
• Resilient to failure. Good in solving technical problems in the customer processes.
• Dynamic, Self demanding, entrepreneurial spirit, team player, willing to learn and grow.
• English fluent both oral and written,
• Willingness to travel mostly in Spain , up to 60 %
