Our client is a rapidly growing AI technology company, based in Dublin, Ireland providing software solutions for both non-clinical and Clinical Pathology. From its inception in 2017, the company has scaled rapidly to a team of over 60 people, based in 6 countries worldwide, and is projected to hit 70+ people by late 2021. The company also has US & UK subsidiaries, with plans to expand into new markets. The company has been heavily involved in R&D with several EU and national grants to drive new product pipeline development. This has been supplemented with significant investment funding from VCs and private entities to enable the company's commercial development and growth.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist team leads with daily user support and customer IT/deployment-related issues
- Support packaged and proprietary applications by responding to customer/team lead requests for assistance, documenting the problems and actions taken using appropriate tracking tools
- Coordinate with other team members as necessary to resolve problems and communicate resolution to the customer and other appropriate parties in a timely manner
- Create and review existing training documentation
- Facilitate high-level user training sessions independently
- Perform general business analysis activities on projects such as gathering and documenting business rules, user workflow, and system functional requirements
- Facilitate meetings with customers to determine and prioritize their business and system requirements for specific projects.
Document and analyze requirements:
- Support Project Manager with scope definition, cost/benefit analysis, and project plan
- Participate in the creation, documentation, and delivery of training for proprietary applications; work with other team members to understand training requirements, application functionality, and documentation needs. Train customers on an individual or ad-hoc basis as needed.
- Complete all mandatory company training and job-specific training required for the role, including ISMS, GLP, DocuSign, SDLC as applicable.
Education / Qualifications ▪ Minimum requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science/IT/MIS or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years technical experience in operations /administration/support.
Required Experience for the Role:
- Experience with client-server architecture, Web Enabled Applications, and SAAS
- Experience with structured development methodology and with relational databases & queries
- Demonstrated understanding of business process analysis
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with GLP regulations or software a plus Desired Characteristics
- Be focused with a sense of urgency and immediate impact, capable of working in an agile environment
- Possess sound communication skills to address issues quickly & comprehensively with internal & external parties
- Be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take ownership
- Be effective at time management and personal organization/planning
- Be willing to participate in more than one system implementation through the complete project life cycle
- Experience using, configuring, documenting, and troubleshooting services deployed on-premises and in the cloud
- Knowledge of AWS, MongoDB, and/or Docker technology is a plus.
