- Candidate should have minimum 10 + years of experience in Virtualization technologies in VMware and HCI platforms like Dell VXrail, VCF and SDDC, and Nutanix.
- Work as SPOC for customer to resolve the issue end-to-end.
- Ability to handle the project alone and details the project technical task with customer.
- In-depth capability and understanding of Datacenter and Virtualization technologies and their application.
- Ability to articulate and develop Datacenter and Virtualization architectures and roadmaps for clients.
- Experience in analyzing Client infrastructure to ensure that the infrastructure is ready for the Datacenter and Virtualization.
- Demonstrable experience with VMware"s products (VMware ESX, vCenter, SRM HCX, vCenter Operations, vRealize Network Insight) within modern IT production data centers and infrastructure environments.
- Experience in Planning, conducting, and supporting ESXi version upgrades and migrations from legacy system to latest version.
- Server consolidation and virtualization using mainly in VMWare and having experience in Microsoft Hyper-V is an added advantage.
- Should have strong implementation experience in implementation backup solutions in Commvault, Veeam.
- Servers & Storage: Dell Servers (Vx Rail, DELL EMC Unity, Dell EMC Data Domain).
- Backup Software and Hardware: Dell EMC Data Protection, Avamar, Tape Library, Veeam and Commvault.
- Architecting and design enterprise level IT architectural solutions utilizing VMware’s core virtualization and cloud offerings Plan, Design, Build & Deliver core infrastructure solutions.
- Ability to work independently and be an example to fellow team members.
- An innovative approach to solving client problems for the betterment of the client and the advancements of VMware.
- Should be a RHEL certified resource
- Should have been handled larger deployment of Linux environment with OS clustering.
- RHEL virtualization will be added advantage
- Deploy RHEL cluster as per the best practices.
- Migration of services Linux from legacy linux versions.
- Develop project document, update internal documentation and configuration items.
- Implement approved technology changes for clients following our standards and best practices.
- Keep the environment by updating the system on periodic basis.
- Proactive in resolving support request escalated from services delivery team.
- Willing to work on flexible schedule depending on business need
- Responsible for providing senior level (L3) of support for VMware and Storage Backup Platform.
