Our Client is a Global Leader and manufacturer of Durable Goods. For their offices in Nicosia, they are looking for a:
‘Technical Support Officer (Engineer)’
The role is the first point of contact in technical queries and provides remote technical support during the maintenance phase, supports maintenance technicians in resolving technical issues, and works to ensure products are maintained in compliance with process and quality standards.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support for maintenance technicians in identifying the root cause and corrective solution.
- Provide spare part identification support.
- Propose sales solutions (Packaged Service Repairs) to improve equipment reliability, comfort, and safety.
- Support sales in assessing the maintainability (spare part availability, documentation, competencies, maintenance need) of equipment before tendering for the maintenance contract.
- Train local technicians during site visits and/or deliver scheduled training sessions.
- Ensure each site follows the global safety processes and guidelines.
Your Background:
- Academic background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in Customer Service roles.
- Strong technical understanding of product and service solutions that meet customer expectations.
