PROJECTS: pipe making plants of two types: seamless (no welding) and standard (ERW). Projects can vary from 1-2 years (ERW) to 5-7 years (seamless)
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in process engineering within the metal industry
TRAVEL: The candidate will not need to travel a lot, max 15% of the time within a year, and mainly only during the commissioning phase or for ad hoc client meetingsResponsibilities:
• Knowledge of the technological process
• Study of rolling equipment
• Definition of the sizing parameters of the rolling machines
• Definition of technical specifications of the machine
• Use/improvement/realization of rolling mathematical models and algorithms for the actuation of the drives
• Cooperates with the commercial office during the offer phase
• Cooperates with the technical office during the order phase
• Participates with a key role in the start-up of the plants, with a view to obtaining product quality and optimizing the efficiency of the rolling lines
• Participate in customer operator training
• Carries out field surveys for the continuous improvement of processes/finished product quality
Stakeholders:
Internal: Technical Office, Mac, Project management of other product lines
External: Customers and Suppliers
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Fundamentals of metallurgy
• Knowledge and use of programming languages (C++, Visual Basic, Excel, etc)
• Ability to understand technical drawing (2D/3D)
• Fluency in English (written/spoken)

• Orientation to concrete results
• Availability for short/medium-term travel abroad including construction site activities
