About the Role

A leading international telecom engineering firm is expanding its team in Bucharest to support large-scale wireless and fiber infrastructure projects across Europe. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact telecom rollouts, collaborate with cross-border teams, and grow into leadership or technical expert roles.

Responsibilities

• Design telecom site layouts and generate technical documentation

• Conduct engineering calculations and basic static checks for towers, rooftops, and fiber routes

• Work closely with detailers to translate specs into buildable plans

• Adapt designs based on German and UK standards, and client-specific guidelines

• Coordinate with site technicians, clients, and project managers to resolve technical questions

• Participate in engineering reviews, quality checks, and process improvements

• Maintain awareness of material specs and structural regulations in telecom infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Telecom Engineering

• 0–15 years of relevant experience in telecom, infrastructure, or industrial design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Familiarity with telecom structures (towers, rooftops, fiber)

• Bonus: Experience with RSTAB, Revit, or EPLAN

• Strong English communication skills (German is a plus)

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in international teams

• Eagerness to grow into lead engineer or project management roles
