Telecommunications Network Technician

Employer is Germany based company looking for a candidate with 2 years of the professional experiences in DWDM and SDH technology as well as Carrier Ethernet systems.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• participation in various projects for data centres, network and transmission technology
• installation and commissioning of WDM and SDH and Ethernet systems
• integration of optical transmission systems in existing networks
• measurements, maintenance and fault clearance of the supported systems
• recording and documentation of the processes

Skills and Competencies

• completed technical vocational training  (IT system electronics technician, electronics technician in information and telecommunications technology or similar training)
• experience in handling Huawei hardware
• OSN1800, OSN3800, OSN6800, OSN9800
• experience in handling 10G / 100G measuring devices
• knowledge in the field of fibre optics
• knowledge of DWDM and SDH technology as well as Carrier Ethernet systems
• high willingness to work independently
• proficiency  in German language (Level C1) and in English language (Level B1)
• drivers’ licence (B)
