Job Description
The Territory Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within his/her area, driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and addressing client needs promptly.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients within the assigned area.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to inform strategic planning.
- Oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned area, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of sales and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role within the promotional products industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
