We currently have a vacancy for a Test Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in The Hague, Netherlands. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

What is a test analyst and should you become one?

Your tasks:

Definition of test cases and reporting of test results as well as execution of functional manual test scenarios and scripts which are difficult to automate;
Design, code and execute automated GUI tests using Selenium WebDriver with C#unit tests written in programming languages and unctional automated API tests on REST services using C# RestSharp;
Identification, re-testing of and reporting on defects and support in definition of test plans;
Support systems integrations by active involvement in implementation and testing of API integration, tests on REST webservices as well as support to user acceptance testing activities.

Requirements

University degree in IT or a related field and minimum 6 years of experience in IT;
Minimum 6 years of experience in the area of Software Quality Assurance in role of Test Analyst or Test Automation Engineer with a participation in a minimum of 3 projects requiring GUI and API testing;
Good knowledge of C# or JAVA programming language in context of test automation and usage of object oriented techniques, design patterns and best principles. Parallel knowledge of git, work with pull requests;
Mastery in manual regression testing and regression test automation at UI and API level using appropriate frameworks such as RestAssured, RestSharp and Webdriver combined with good knowledge of applying DevOps best practices, such as continuous testing, build and release pipelines;
Expertise in automation using BDD tools such as Specflow, Cucumber and in Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) methodology, its principles and practical implementation;
Good knowledge of testing on system and acceptance test level using dynamic, static and experience-based test techniques;
Excellent command of English language.
