Roles and Responsibilities:- 

• Getting party name/break up of party wise contracts if any and LC bank opening name from buyer.
• Co-ordinate for issuance of PI.
• Maintain database of initial LC opening, Clean LC time, issuance of PI time etc.
• Co-ordinate with Indian treasury and Asia treasury on availability of bank lines for Indian shipment.
• Co-ordinate for any special clause in LC either from seller side or buyer side.
• Co-ordinate on shipment from Origin. Possible shipment date, possible voyage time. Via ports or direct shipment co-ordination.
• Advise on LC opening time to marketers on meeting possible deadlines of shipment.
• Provide HVI data for Aus cotton on buyers request after approval from Traders.
• Contract allocation for Aus cotton in ATLAS.
• Follow up on pending SI/LC for Aus cotton with respective buyer/agents.
