Our client is a Banking and Financial Services firm with a market presence of over 13 years.

Reporting to : CEO

TASKS AND DUTIES:

Responsible for managing the organisation's Trade Finance operations, which are as follows:

• Approve plans for daily transactional requirements to optimise trade finance applications.
• Design strategies for better use of trade finance facilities.
• Drive trade clearing and settlement processes to ensure all accounts are updated and arrange money transfers.
• Establish controls to reduce credit and exposure risks in trade operations.
• Establish trade record guidelines and policies to promote efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Banking/Finance from a recognized university OR a professional qualification in Banking or International Trade Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance with a Financial Institution in Mid-Senior level role.
• Should be familiar with major Trade Finance Products especially syndication, co-financing, and correspondent bank products
  (letter of credit, structured trade finance and project-related financing).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, French/Arabic would be added advantage.
• Strong Leadership capabilities.
• Experience in marketing trade finance products.
