Job Description
Role: Trade lane Manager – China-India
Based at Mumbai for 6 months.
Job Summary : Perform a wide variety of duties related to sales
Duties & Responsibilities:
Specific duties including, but not restricted to :
- Develop Key Trade Lane via locally generated sales as well as help to develop and maintain FOB accounts with your counter parts
- Provide guidance and support to China sales ( extending to N. Asia where applicable ) to develop sales growth.
- To prepare yearly budget and sales plan.
- Regularly travel to China branches ( extending to N. Asia where applicable ) to draw sales attention to develop your key trade lane.
- Visit overseas branches and customers to promote China ( extending to N. Asia where applicable ) and generate sales.
- Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue.
- Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads and transform those into revenue generating business.
- Responsible for monthly KTL report locally.
- Maintain records of CRM details / sales visits in CRM NOW.
- Identify potential customers and register opportunities in CRM and transform those into revenue generating business.
- Handle quotations and reporting via CRM.
- Follow the credit control procedures in place
- Set-up and execute customer SOP for ensuring operating procedure meets customer expectations.
- Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
