We are looking for a smart and proactive
TRADE MARKETING MANAGER – OFFLINE CHANNELS
The position:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, will be accountable to implement and develop the Trade Marketing strategy proposal, directly and/or through the Team, on the Offline channels, focusing on domestic market, incorporating the Brand/Product strategies into a full-year plan, accordingly to TM Budget and having shared it with the Head of Marketing.
The role:
- Achieves understanding and generate insights on Trade and purchase behavior in the different Offline Channels/Sectors.
- Creates channel-specific Trade Marketing strategy concepts and initiatives.
- Supports Marketing and Sales Team to deliver the right value proposition and USP in the different Channels.
- Together with the Head of Marketing, supports the International Sales Team in developing new business opportunities and/or existing customers/distributors, accordingly to the available means (priority on domestic market).
Coordinates the subordinate Trade Marketing Coordinator for the following activities:
- Design Promotional Plan & related activities (with consistent monitoring of results), accordingly to the strategy.
- Design and develop specific promotion mechanics, both Trade and Consumer.
- Secure the implementation of the Promo Plan through the Sales Organization.
- Budgeting and optimizing the Trade Marketing spending, related to Offline channels, securing regular alignment with Head of Marketing.
- Develops P.O.S. materials for the different Offline channels, included any kind of expo.
- Develops Sales Presentation materials for the different Offline channels.
- Develops ad-hoc shelf-display proposals to customers, via specific category management tools.
- Cooperates with Sales Analyst and BPM on market data analysis (IRI, GFK, others), via regular insights.
Skills and experience:
- Master Degree in Marketing and Business Management
- 6/8 years experience in Product Management and/or Trade Marketing, preferably on “fmcg” categories.
- At least 2 years experience as Team coordinator.
- Fluent English.
- People Management - able to interact with senior stakeholders both internally and externally; has driven stakeholder engagement
- Skill in budget preparation
- Analytical ability
- Driving and focused execution skills
- Creativity, integrity and professionalism
- Handling of several projects simultaneously.
