Job Purpose
Our client, a prominent financial institution dedicated to providing cutting-edge banking solutions to its clients, is actively looking for a Transaction Banking Network Manager to become an integral part of its dynamic team. This newly created and exciting role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the Transaction Banking division.
Responsibilities:
Network Development:
Build and manage a global network of banks to facilitate cross-border Transaction Banking operations.
Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with partner banks to ensure efficient collaboration and seamless fulfillment of transactions.
Strategic Planning:
Work closely with the Head of Transaction Banking to develop and implement strategic plans for expanding and optimizing the network.
Risk Management:
Assess and mitigate risks associated with cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Performance Analysis:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the global network, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Product Managers, and Compliance teams, to align network activities with overall business objectives.
Market Research:
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience:
- Proven track record in a cross-border Transaction Banking environment with a focus on building and managing a global network of banks.
- Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and execution of the Transaction Banking division's strategic plans.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and managing risks associated with cross-border transactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information and ideas.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
