Transport Manager

Uxbridge based

Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

Essential skills for the role:

• Previous experience as a Transport Manager
• Excellent Administration skills
• Fantastic communication skills

Nice to haves:

• HGV licence / CPC holder

The duties include and not limited to:

• Oversee the team of drivers and warehouse staff
• Deal with all elements of Transport & Logistics
• Communicate with Senior leadership team relating to upcoming events
• Briefing staff on route planning, pre planning etc.
• Ensuring vehicles, maintenance, service history and MOTs are fully up to date
• Deal with Penalty charge notices, when required
• Ensuring Driver's do not exceed their driving hours
• Manage Tacho downloads
• Ad hoc Driver & Warehouse ops recruitment
