JOB DUTIES:
This role supports the Logistics Manager as a key team member working with Transportation Analysts to plan and schedule shipments of material to dealers and customers.

This position translates work instructions to Transportation Analysts, and supports their work on a tactical, day-to-day basis. The incumbent plans, initiates, and maintains a material management process aligned with CPS Supply Chain and Logistics Processes.

Supports and coaches Transportation Analysts to ship material at the least total cost, best quality and timely delivery for material shipments from multiple locations. Includes managing inventory and record accuracy through monitoring daily inventory reports, customer/dealer follow ups, shipping grief reports and daily delivery performance.

Directs internal/external material flow planning. Implements efficient supplier and interplant material delivery plans. Meets production and parts requirements while optimizing inventory levels, lot sizing, considering lead times, and optimizing packaging, containerization and transportation of material.
