Job Summary
As a Treasury Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the treasury department, focusing on cash management, liquidity monitoring, and transaction processing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient functioning of treasury operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash flow, and initiating fund transfers to meet liquidity requirements.
- Process and reconcile treasury transactions, including wire transfers, payments, and deposits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and manage bank accounts, including opening/closing accounts, updating signatories, and resolving account discrepancies.
- Assist in the administration of treasury systems and banking platforms, including user access management, system upgrades, and troubleshooting issues.
- Support the treasury team in preparing reports, analyses, and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and risk management, to ensure alignment on treasury-related activities and initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of treasury policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in treasury operations to support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or financial operations within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of treasury operations processes, including cash forecasting, payments processing, and bank account management.
- Proficiency in using treasury management systems (TMS), banking platforms, and financial software applications.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices related to treasury operations.
