Job Title: Treasury Sales Officer -Ghana

JOB OBJECTIVE(S):
The Treasury Sales Officer is responsible for effectively expanding treasury services for existing clients and identifying sales opportunities for prospective customers, thereby growing fee income. Responsible for assisting in meeting bank sales goals as well as providing exceptional client service by identifying, analysing, selling and supporting treasury solutions to established business customers and prospective corporate clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies and converts cross-selling and new treasury sales opportunities
- Promotes bank services and offers treasury solutions
- Helps develop daily reporting, products and sales tracking procedures for Treasury Management
- Supports risk management activities of treasury products including client site visits, client eligibility assessments, and other client activity reviews or client contacts as requested by Risk Management or Operations
- Recommends pricing strategies and/or exception pricing when warranted
- Responds to telephone and e-mails inquiries; monitors product usage and system operations
- Calls on new and existing commercial clients to develop and close on treasury opportunities
- Prepares treasury agreements and implementation documents
- Works effectively with third party vendors
- Actively participates in joint client and prospect calls and presentations with the Retail Team
- Maintains, updates, reviews, and tracks Treasury Management products
KEY PERFOMANCE INDICATORS
- Meet Treasury sales Income Budget (Sales & BoG sales) as communicated for the year
- Meet Treasury sales’ FX volume target of $20m turnover weekly for customers to ensure volume growth (via competitive pricing) & FX spread optimization (by securing low-cost FX)
- Achieve present targets- Treasury sales product sales (e.g. FCY and LCY) trading - minimum of 2products biannually.
- Conversion of new clients based on wallet sized focus area – 20 new clients signed up monthly.
- Incremental business of existing client, to deepen relationship and increase market share by 10% yearly, within focus area.
- Increase Customer participation (new and old), in Government Securities auction to meet bank’s primary bills participation 7% target of BoG auction as set by BoG for the appraisal period.
- Accurate blotter keeping on all customer-related FX deals (plus interbank) vis-à-vis daily FX position
- Accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and all Treasury reports due from unit

A good first degree in any discipline
Experience
Minimum experience – 1 year’ experience
