Roles: Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Manager & TBM Director
Location: Bucharest, Romania (Relocation required from anywhere in CEE)
Travel: Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), Turkey, and beyond
Experience Level:

TBM Manager – Minimum 10+ years

TBM Director – Minimum 20+ years

We are partnering with a global leader in infrastructure and engineering innovation, supporting international tunneling projects, to fill two strategic positions within their Romania-based team. Both roles will operate closely with the global HQ, supporting major underground infrastructure projects across Europe.

Please note: Relocation to Bucharest, Romania is mandatory for both roles. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Core Responsibilities (for both roles, scaled to seniority)

Coordinate tenders, risk evaluations, and technical documentation.
Advise proposal teams and guide procurement strategies.

Manage TBM procurement, setup, operation, and overall performance.
Control scheduling, budgeting, and ensure delivery on scope and timelines.

TBM Manager: Supervise and collaborate with site-level engineering staff.
TBM Director: Build, lead, and mentor larger multi-site teams and strategic operations.

Troubleshoot technical challenges, optimize TBM performance, and ensure safety/environmental compliance.

Handle local/international compliance and align with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Education	Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree (Master’s preferred)	Same
