The Role
Finance Control
- Review and approve business transactions, including purchase requests, purchase orders, and payments, in accordance with delegated authority limits and company policies.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Business Decision Support
- Support the UAE General Manager and other department heads with financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.
Reporting
- Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly management reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and cash flow projections,
UAE Financial Operations
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Review financial transactions and records, identifying and addressing discrepancies or anomalies promptly.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in the UAE Automotive Industry is a must.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Focus on financial controls (GAAP and IFRS) and business partnering.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (SAP).
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
