UX Consultant – Software Engineering Services Company

Our client is an established, successful Swiss software company developing innovative solutions for international companies and SMEs across Europe and is looking to add to its team of experienced UX designers.
The role
Do you love understanding customer and user needs and turning them into a great experience? Can you be creative, committed and consultative with our customers to develop requirements and validate them through user research? Are you able to develop a concept on this basis and implement it in intuitive user interfaces?

Key responsibilities
You will support the project teams with your experience in the development of user interfaces for mobile apps, desktop and web applications. You will manage projects, starting with planning, user research, UX architecture, interaction design, prototyping and testing.
With your in-depth knowledge you will
- identify customer requirements
- take responsibility for the interaction design
- take care of the creation of Lo-Fi and Hi-Fi mockups
- conduct UX research and usability testing
Qualifications and Experience:
- University education (Uni, FH, ETH, HF)
- Training in the field of interaction design such as MAS HCID.
- Practical experience in Human Centered Design and Design Thinking on various platforms such as web or mobile.
- A passion for the development of user-centric UX concepts and are able to translate complex relationships into easy-to-understand designs, always with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and be a team player.
- Knowledge of software development processes.
