We’re Hiring: V&V Senior Lead / Principal Engineer

We are looking for an experienced V&V Senior Lead to drive system-level Validation & Verification (V&V) activities across complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of transit and embedded systems through industry-standard methodologies, automation, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

System-Level V&V Leadership

• Lead end-to-end V&V planning, execution, and reporting at the system level

• Collaborate with engineering leads to define, review, and trace system requirements to test cases

• Drive system integration testing, formal testing, and procedure validation

Team & Resource Management

• Manage, mentor, and guide V&V engineers across projects

• Plan and manage V&V schedules, resources, and budgets

Test Strategy & Execution

• Develop and maintain V&V plans, test cases, procedures, and reports

• Validate software builds and administer test execution

• Maintain and enhance the System Test Environment (STE)

Automation & Tools

• Design and implement automated test suites using tools such as:

  • Playwright, Selenium, Cypress

  • Robot Framework, PyTest, TestNG

  • RestAssured, Postman, Katalon Studio

• Perform API testing and SQL-based data validation

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git

• Utilize TestRail and JIRA for test and defect management

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to evaluate test strategies

• Lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and present V&V status to stakeholders

• Manage and resolve system-level ARQs and critical issues

Continuous Improvement

• Drive standardization and process improvements across V&V activities

• Stay current with industry best practices in testing and automation

• Evaluate vendor capabilities and support procurement decisions

 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech), MCA, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in software/system testing (manual + automation)

• Strong experience validating complex engineering or embedded systems

• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and V-Model methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Transit systems or Automated Fare Collection Systems (AFCS)

• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools

• Proficiency in API testing, SQL, and exposure to C++, C#, Java, UNIX, TCP/IP

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)

• Basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter

• Exposure to Generative AI tools for testing (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

• ISTQB Foundation Level or higher certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
